Course info
This course comprises four taught modules, supplemented by a double module of tutor-supported research/study. Course members are expected to analyse their reading via their personal and professional experience and training.

How much will it cost?
The 2007-08 fee was £1,400 per year, for a two-year part-time course, or £2,800 for a one-year full-time course, for UK and EU students. Course fees will be subject to an annual increase.

Assessment method
Assessment is by coursework of 5,000 words per taught module, plus a dissertation of 12,000 words to be written on an area of relevance to your own counselling activity.

Entry Requirements
Applicants will already have followed a thorough practitioner training - normally to Diploma level or the equivalent and will come from a wide range of professional backgrounds such as education, the health service and social services, private practice or working with voluntary agencies. Applicants will normally be engaged in supervised counselling practice throughout the course (although special conditions may apply to overseas students).
