This course will provide the essential knowledge and skills to perform the role of IT Support Desk Technician within their organisation. Learners can be either a current support technician or an IT enthusiast performing a supporting role within the business. The desktop support technician enables end-users to be more productive with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office. It covers modules such as MCDST and 2261/2262.

Assessment method
Students will be assessed through 70-271/2 examination.

Entry Requirements
Students are required to be familiar with Windows XP and Microsoft Office and to have real experience of addressing support issues that present themselves on a weekly or monthly basis. Experience of a corporate networked environment is advantageous.
