This course covers the training and assessment requirement for LOGICs Legionella and water treatment certificate. Students will identify the main causes of Legionella and learn how to minimise the risk by various methods. Landlords and hotel owners have a legal obligation under L8 to ensure that they have adequate methods in place to prevent Legionella within their hot and cold water systems. The certificate enables operatives to legally offer and carry out this work as a member of a competent persons scheme.
