Course info
The course leads towards the City and Guilds 6022 Domestic Copper Installer Certificate, the 6032 Bathroom Installer Certificate, the City and Guilds 6084 Energy Efficiency Certificate as well as the BPEC Water Regulations and BPEC Unvented Hot Water Certificates. It is suitable for those wishing to gain recognised qualifications and start a career in plumbing, either self employed or to work for a company. No prior qualifications or experience in plumbing is necessary, although some may prefer to complete our 2 day Introduction to Plumbing course first. The course is for 4 weeks Monday - Friday, but can be split into 2 x 2 week sessions if this is more convenient. The course is a mixture of theory and practical sessions. In the morning you will be taught plumbing theory in a modern well equipped training classroom, after lunch we move to the training workshop for the practical session. With this method you get the best of both worlds, good solid theory training backed up by tailor made practical tasks for you to gain real life exposure. Also awarded by Construction Industry Training Board.
