Course info
This course is designed for new entrants into the plumbing industry. Starting with basic pipe work skills you will rapidly move on to more complex plumbing tasks including airing cupboards, bathroom suites, above ground drainage and central heating installation. Around 70% of the course is taught in our modern well- equipped workshops with the remaining time for theory lectures. Students are divided into small tutor groups of 6 people, lead by an experienced plumbing tutor. You will also complete City and Guilds 6129 Lead 1, 6129 Lead 2, 6129 Steel Pipe and 6129 Final assessments as part of this course. Most student then progress onto the City and Guilds 6089 NVQ level 2 after completing this course. (work based assessed award)
