Course info
These courses are suitable for learners who are keen to develop their counselling skills either as a helper in schools, colleges or voluntary organisations on the initial level course. They will study the theory and practice of counselling skills.

How much will it cost?
£178; £112 exam fee; Free for UK students aged between 16 and 18 years on 31/08/07

Assessment method
It is assessed both internally and externally. Internal assessments include keeping a learning journal, writing an essay on their learning and giving a short presentation.

Entry Requirements
Students must be 18 years and over, and have undertaken at least 30 hours of basic counselling skills training
