This is a practical based qualification designed to develop manual dexterity and hands-on job knowledge. The course consists of seven mandatory practical tasks and two optional practical tasks, plus a small amount of underpinning theory. The qualification can provide progression to the Foundation Construction Award or NVQ Level 1 Intermediate Construction Award. Students will also be prepared for a range of bricklaying jobs.
