This course provides the necessary skills to select and specify the correct type of equipment to economically comply with the clients requirements for security of supply. The topics covered are: types of distribution systems and their application, types and selection of HV switchgear, types and selection of distribution transformers, earthing requirements, types and selection of underground cables, short circuit calculations records and documentation and project exercises on selection of equipment.
